SPHERO GLOBAL COMPETITION
The Sphero Global Challenge is the ultimate STEM competition and an opportunity for students to go deeper with computational thinking, engineering, and programming skills. Students will compete in groups of 5. Teams of all abilities are encouraged to work together to identify problems and develop solutions centered around the year's theme (Sphero In The Wild). Through this challenge, students will work to accomplish their goals in Regional and State Final competitions and ultimately a World Championship in Spring 2023!
SPHERO IN THE WILD
SPHERO IN THE WILD
The study of animal behavior (Ethology) teaches us a lot about how animals interact with their natural environment, which provides valuable information on how to help conservation efforts for all animals.
In the Sphero BOLT Mission, teams will program their robots to imitate the lives, behaviors, and actions of animals!
Only the best teams will successfully program their BOLTs to:
- Navigate through wild missions and solve problems.
- Harness their creativity and transform their robot into an animal.
- Create and engineer interactions as part of their missions.
